GDPR Candidate Agreement

Between Hutcheon Mearns Limited (referred to as "the Agency"), and you (referred to as "the Candidate").

Introduction

  1. The Agency is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal data obtained from candidates during the recruitment process.
  2. The Candidate acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this GDPR Candidate Agreement.

Data Collection and Processing

  1. The Candidate agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information to the Agency during the recruitment process.
  2. The Agency may collect and process personal data provided by the Candidate, including but not limited to:
  • Name
  • Contact details
  • Employment history
  • Education and qualifications
  • References
  1. The Candidate consents to the processing of their personal data by the Agency for the purpose of recruitment.
  2. The Candidate understands that their personal data may be shared with prospective employers during the recruitment process.

Data Storage and Security

  1. The Agency will take appropriate measures to safeguard the confidentiality and security of the Candidate's personal data.
  2. Personal data will be stored securely and access will be restricted to authorized personnel only.
  3. The Agency will retain the Candidate's personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this agreement, or as required by law.

Data Sharing

  1. The Candidate understands and agrees that their personal data may be shared with third parties involved in the recruitment process, including prospective employers and relevant regulatory authorities.
  2. The Agency will not disclose the Candidate's personal data to any other third parties without their explicit consent, unless required by law.

Rights of the Candidate

  1. The Candidate has the right to request access to, rectification, or erasure of their personal data held by the Agency.
  2. The Candidate may also request restriction of processing or object to the processing of their personal data.
  3. Any such requests should be made in writing to the Agency's Data Protection Officer.

Changes to the Agreement

  1. The Agency reserves the right to update or modify this GDPR Candidate Agreement at any time.
  2. The Candidate will be notified of any changes to this agreement.

Governing Law

  1. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Acceptance

  1. By providing personal data to the Agency, the Candidate agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this GDPR Candidate Agreement.
