Overview of the Role
The Head of Group PMO (Corporate Transformation) will establish and lead an enterprise wide project and transformation function. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping, prioritising and delivering a portfolio of strategic business change initiatives across multiple functions, business units and geographies. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will drive meaningful transformation and ensure programmes deliver measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead a Group PMO that supports strategic business transformation
- Develop and manage a prioritised portfolio of change initiatives aligned to business objectives
- Provide executive level insight, governance and decision support on projects, programmes and investments
- Lead business analysis activities, including discovery, process improvement, requirements gathering and business case development
- Drive change management, stakeholder engagement, adoption and benefit realisation
- Support the delivery of complex and high priority projects, ensuring clear accountability, effective governance and successful outcomes
- Build and develop PMO, project management and change capability across the organisation
Background and Experience
- Significant experience leading an enterprise PMO, portfolio office or business transformation function within a complex organisation
- Proven track record of establishing or enhancing portfolio management and governance frameworks
- Strong experience delivering cross functional change programmes involving areas such as Finance, HR, IT, Procurement or business integration
- Demonstrable expertise in business analysis, change management and programme delivery
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) with a recognised project or programme management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP or MSP
