Part-Time Temporary Accounts Assistant (6-12 months FTC)

Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment (formally known as Hutcheon Mearns) are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of their client based in St Andrews for a temporary Accounts Assistant, for a 6 - 12 months fixed term contract. The role is part-time hours, ideally working a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to support the finance team. . This position will pay up to £30,589 full-time equivalent depending on experience.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Process sales and purchase ledger transactions
  • Maintain customer and supplier account records
  • Account reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end as required
  • Carry out data cleansing, and quality checks to ensure accuracy

The Candidate

  • You will have previous experience in an accounts administration role in a finance office
  • Previous experience of working Sales and Purchase ledger
  • You will have strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • You will have working knowledge of Finance systems
  • You will have an ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Understanding of accounting principles

Renumeration and Benefits
