An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchase to Pay (P2P) professional to join a major finance transformation programme as a Purchase to Pay Workstream Lead.
This is a high-profile role where you will take ownership of the design, standardisation and delivery of global P2P initiatives, driving process improvement, operational efficiency and best practice across a complex international organisation.
The Opportunity
As the P2P Workstream Lead, you will be responsible for defining and implementing a future-state operating model for Purchase to Pay processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency and strong financial controls across the organisation. You will work closely with finance, procurement and project teams to shape strategy, manage delivery plans and support major ERP transformation activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of a target operating model for Purchase to Pay processes.
- Develop standardised end-to-end P2P processes and controls across multiple business units.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, improve service delivery and reduce process costs.
- Define and deliver a roadmap of process improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and resource requirements.
- Act as the subject matter expert for P2P within wider ERP and finance transformation programmes.
- Establish meaningful KPIs and reporting to measure operational performance.
- Support change management, stakeholder engagement and adoption of new ways of working.
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
- Strong Purchase to Pay / Accounts Payable process expertise.
- Experience leading finance transformation or process improvement programmes.
- Exposure to ERP implementation or rollout projects.
- Proven ability to design and standardise finance processes across multiple locations or business units.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior level.
- A continuous improvement mindset and strong analytical capabilities.
- Experience operating within complex, international organisations would be highly advantageous.
