Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment (formally known as Hutcheon Mearns) are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of their client based in Arbroath for a temporary Reception/Administration Assistant to start immediately, for a 6 week summer cover contract. The role is full-time hours, however part-time will be considered. This position will pay minimum wage, age dependant. This role is to start as soon as possible, and is to cover the summer period (6 weeks).
The Opportunity
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing reception duties, including handling incoming telephone calls, greeting visitors, and directing enquires appropriately
- Monitoring and responding to shared email inboxes
- Preparing, formatting, and issuing quotations and other business documentation
- Processing, printing, and collating invoices, timesheets, and related administrative paperwork
- Producing and distributing regular reports
- Scanning, uploading, maintaining, and filing digital records in line with company procedures
- Coordinating the ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies from approved vendor
- Assisting with fleet and vehicle administration, liaising with drivers, maintenance providers, and the wider team

The Candidate
- You will have previous experience in an administration or reception role in an office
- You will have strong attention to detail
- You will have an ability to work on your own and as part of a team
Further Details
- Minimum wage dependant on age
- Full time hours (Monday to Thursday 9-5pm, and 9-4pm on a Friday)
- Part-time hours will also be conisidered
- On-site role n Arbroath
- 6 weeks contract to cover summer time
