Senior Credit Controller – Glasgow City Centre (US Hours)

Hours: Blended shift pattern covering US operating hours (3 days at home 11:30am–8pm, 2 days in office 9am–5:30pm)

We’re supporting a well‑established organisation in the STEM sector to hire a Senior Credit Controller who will take full ownership of the US region. This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front, coach a high‑performing team, and partner closely with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading, coaching, and motivating a credit control team to exceed performance targets
- Ensuring efficient processes, strong SLAs, and timely cash collection
- Building strong working relationships across global regions and functions
- Managing KPIs, identifying risks early, and driving continuous improvement
- Supporting global strategy, insights, and alignment within the credit function
What you’ll bring
- Strong and proven Credit Control experience (US exposure advantageous)
- Confident communication with stakeholders at all levels
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Strong MS Office skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship‑building ability
- Highly organised, accurate, and calm under pressure
- Experience leading or coaching others
- CICM membership desirable but not essential
