Senior Credit Controller – Glasgow City Centre (US Hours)

Location: Glasgow City Centre
Hours: Blended shift pattern covering US operating hours (3 days at home 11:30am–8pm, 2 days in office 9am–5:30pm)
Working Model: Hybrid

We’re supporting a well‑established organisation in the STEM sector to hire a Senior Credit Controller who will take full ownership of the US region. This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front, coach a high‑performing team, and partner closely with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading, coaching, and motivating a credit control team to exceed performance targets
  • Ensuring efficient processes, strong SLAs, and timely cash collection
  • Building strong working relationships across global regions and functions
  • Managing KPIs, identifying risks early, and driving continuous improvement
  • Supporting global strategy, insights, and alignment within the credit function

What you’ll bring

  • Strong and proven Credit Control experience (US exposure advantageous)
  • Confident communication with stakeholders at all levels
  • Good understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Excellent customer service and relationship‑building ability
  • Highly organised, accurate, and calm under pressure
  • Experience leading or coaching others
  • CICM membership desirable but not essential
