An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Finance Manager to join a fast growing organisation operating in the energy sector, with a focus on the onshore and offshore renewables.
Overview of the Role
This is a highly visible role where you'll partner with senior stakeholders, providing the financial insight and commercial analysis needed to drive profitability, support strategic decision making, and improve business performance.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
- Delivering insightful variance analysis and performance reporting
- Leading budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitoring financial performance and recommending corrective actions
- Analysing costs, margins and profitability to identify improvement opportunities
- Developing and monitoring KPIs to support operational performance
- Acting as a trusted business partner to operational and commercial teams
- Supporting contract reviews, pricing decisions and strategic initiatives
- Ensuring robust financial controls, compliance and reporting accuracy
- Driving improvements across financial processes and systems
Background and Experience:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with post-qualification experience
- Experienced in a management accounting or finance business partnering role within a £10m+ organisation
- Highly skilled in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel and confident using financial systems
- A strong communicator, capable of influencing and challenging senior stakeholders
- Commercially minded, proactive and solutions focused
- Experience within the energy sector and exposure to ERP systems such as NetSuite would be advantageous.
